I had been doing church planting for three years before anyone ever told me about using school hallways for childrens rooms. I had seen it done in movie theaters, but never thought about doing it in a school. It wasn’t until I was faced with a situation in which the school we were in wouldn’t [...] Related posts:

This past summer I had the opportunity to visit a friend’s church in the Knoxville, TN area. I met Rodney Arnold earlier that year at another church while he was planning the launch of One Life. I was able to get away from my church to sit in on one of their preview services. You could [...] Related posts:

I remember when I was first starting out, one of the most difficult challenges we faced was figuring out how to set up our school cafeteria.  There aren’t many pictures out there on the internet of school set ups to pull ideas from. Keep in mind that the layout and environment is extremely important for [...] Related posts:

This is a great post from Tim McCormik who is planting Coastal Community Church in Ft. Pray for Tim and his church that just launched in [...] Related posts:

I drove around town looking at some other banners and saw these examples. If you order a banner with grommets, the banner company will tell you to mount the banner using a frame that’s bigger than the banner and use bungee cords to suspend it in the middle of the frame. The problem is that the [...] Related posts:

Good Tenants

Most church planters rent space from a school, theater, or another church. Have you ever asked yourself, “Are we a good tenant?” Or better yet, would your landlord say that “you are a blessing to have in their building on the weekends?” This past year when we relaunched our church we moved from one school to another one [...] Related posts:

Easy Roadside Banner Setup

Posted on 03. Sep, 2009 by Steve Swisher.

We put our banners in the grassy area next to the road. The set up is cheap, quick, compact, simple, and looks nice. Here’s how to do it. 1. Order your signs with pole pockets on the left and right sides.  While many banners come with grommets which are more common, they are a real pain to work with. Over [...] Related posts:
